ARNOLD Ivor George Passed away peacefully on 2nd April, aged 91 years, at Barry Hospital. Beloved husband of Victorina (Rena). Cherished and adored dad to Julie. Loved Papa to Tamsin. Ivor will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He will be remembered for his long and dedicated service to The British Athletics Association as Technical Official and Grade 1 International Starter, Teacher of Mathematics and P.E. Army Veteran of the Korean War and for his beautiful voice. Funeral Service on Thursday 22nd April at Cadoxton Christian Spiritualist Church followed by Committal Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers may be made to Parkinsons UK via www.parkinsons.org.uk/donate/research-cure Please note that due to current Covid restrictions, face covering must be worn in the church and crematorium. Mourners attending are strictly by family invite only.

As a top class starter, he made a huge contribution to schools athletics at Glamorgan and Welsh Schools level, and was still a Vice President of our national schools' association.
