MASON John Avery Peacefully at home on 1st November 2020, aged 82 years. A devoted husband to Kay, a loving father to Alan, Jason and Bronwen, a cherished grandfather to all his grandchildren, Charlie, Barney, Tannen, Hayley, Jack, Oliver and Ava. John will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Resting at AG Adams Funeralcare, until the private service at Barry SNU Church, Buttrills Road, Barry followed by a committal service at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations may be made in lieu of flowers directly to Barry Spiritualist Church, Buttrills Road, Barry or The Lung Research Fund 9504, c/o Professor B. Hope-Gill, Consultant Respiratory Physician, Respiratory Medicine, On-Call Landing, University Hospital, Llandough.

I should like to offer my condolences to all John's family and friends. We were connected by my late father, Henry Evans, whose sister, Lizzie married into the Avery family. RIP John.

John, It was an absolute pleasure, and an honour to have had you as a friend.
We always enjoyed your company - how couldn't we! Always an upbeat, happy go lucky person, with a down-to-earth spirit, and enjoyed a good curry !
We shall miss you very much John, You have been an inspiration xxx
