BOOKER Delcie Margaret Delcie passed away peacefully at the Waverley Care Centre in Penarth, on Thursday 7th May 2020. Adored wife of the late Viv and beloved Mum to Lynne, Vivien, Deborah and Louise. Dearest mum-in-law to Ken and James, much loved Grandmother to Nicholas, Thomas, Stephanie and thrilled to be Great-Grandmother to Henry. Darling sister to Alfrey in New Zealand and the late Joan, Phyllis, Graham and Norman. Also, sister-in-law to Jean and Aunt and Great-Aunt to family across the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Growing up in Barry in 1950's and 1960's was a JOY! Being a member of the Barry Yacht Club, sailing, socializing, self-maturing with many wonderful people, passionate about sailing, was nectar from heaven. Viv and Delcie along with their girls epitomized everything that was right that made BYC the place to be. They were one family of many where competition, social norms and family fun and fellowship was on display each and every day. THANK you for loving memories and for a life well lived.
