THREE players from Caerleon RFC will represent Wales Deaf on Saturday when they take on England Deaf for the Broadstreet Cup at Pontypridd.

Forwards Adam Brake, his brother David and Rob Mills will be seeking to make it seven wins in a row against the English when the nations meet on the new artificial pitch at Sardis Road (kick-off 2.30pm).

Wales won the last encounter at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park last March 34-10 but the hosts expect another tough game against an England side who will take on New Zealand in a three-Test series in November.

Skipper Adam Brake said; "It's a great honour to captain my country and to have my brother alongside me with Rob is something special for our club.

"We're expecting another tough game this Saturday and are excited to be playing again on this fantastic surface in front of our passionate supporters."

The Ponty surroundings will be familiar for the Wales team as they took on the Forces Support at Sardis Road in November, going down 38-17 in an entertaining clash.

To be eligible to represent Wales Deaf players need a combined average hearing loss of 25 decibels or more in both ears. This is approximately a minimum hearing loss in both ears or a moderate hearing loss in one ear but normal hearing in the other.

Entry at Sardis Road costs £10 for adults and is free for under-16s.
