NEWPORT Gwent Dragons wing Hallam Amos gets a chance to stake a claim for a spot against the World Champions when he lines up for Wales against England on Sunday.

The 21-year-old will win his seventh cap and keeps the 11 jersey that he wore against Italy in the Six Nations finale.

He will be returning to Twickenham for the first time since suffering a dislocated shoulder in the famous World Cup win against England.

There is no place in the 23 for his Dragons teammate Tyler Morgan with Warren Gatland plumping for his big guns, Jamie Roberts partnering Scott Williams in midfield while Jonathan Davies is away on club duty with Clermont.

Dan Lydiate captains the side in the ansence of the injured Sam Warburton and also wears 7 on his back, Ross Moriarty joining him and Taulupe Faletau in the back row.

“When you look at the summer series ahead, this is a really important match for the squad,” said head coach Gatland.

“When looking at previous summer tours and planning for New Zealand, we felt we needed greater preparation to prepare us for the step up in intensity and the match against England will provide that for us.

“It will be an important hit-out for both teams and as ever it will be an important Test match as it’s England versus Wales at Twickenham.

“There is a lot of continuity in our squad and a great amount of experience and that is going to be vital over the next five weeks.

“Dan led us exceptionally well in our last match so deserves to continue with those duties this weekend."
