WALES will play the Netherlands in a friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, November 13.

The match, which will kick off at 7.45pm, will be the first since Chris Coleman’s team achieved qualification to Euro 2016.

The Netherlands failed to make it to France after finishing fourth in their qualifying group, but will provide a sterntest for Wales.

The teams last met in June 2014 at the Amsterdam Arena with the Netherlands winning 2-0, in what was their final preparation match before the World Cup in Brazil, where they finished third.

The roles are reversed this time around as this match will signal the beginning of Welsh preparations for next summer.

“We produced an excellent display when we last met the Netherlands,” said Wales manager Chris Coleman.

“We look forward to welcoming the Dutch to Cardiff for what I’m sure will prove to be a valuable and entertaining match as we begin preparations for EURO 2016 in France.”
