TWO Barry youngsters from Cardiff Roller Collective's Artistic Skating Club achieved glory at the West Berkshire roller skating competition at Northcroft Leisure Centre in Newbury last weekend.
Clubs attended from all over England, however Amber Ivins and Carly Ewings who are both from Barry and were representing Cardiff were the only entrants from Wales.
Amber, aged 10 and the youngest participant, came 1st winning the CCL Trophy; and Carly, aged 14, came 2nd.
This was Cardiff Roller Collectives' first ever artistic competition, so the future looks bright! The recreational skating club is recruiting new members - for more information see their website.
Founded in October 2010, The Cardiff Roller Collective (CRoC) club covers all roller sports and is based in Cardiff. For information visit http://cardiffrollercollective.com
