BARRY Town United found an alternative way to build anticipation for their Welsh Premier League curtain-raiser this weekend, with a piece of innovative artwork displayed on our very own Whitmore Bay.
Professional sand artist Din Evans was commissioned by the club to draw the design, which depicts the Welsh Premier League logo, alongside the club's shortened name, 'Barry TUFC'.
The artwork, which took around two hours to complete, entertained visitors to Barry Island promenade during the afternoon before being washed away later that day.
Barry Town United are set to begin their Welsh Premier League campaign this Sunday against Aberystwyth Town, in a 5.15pm kick-off being broadcast live on S4C.
