LOSS: Lee Selby
BOXING fans have been sending their condolences to Lee and Andrew Selby following the death of their mother Frankie, who passed away on Tuesday.
IBF world featherweight champion Lee’s title defence against Jonathan Barros in Wembley on Saturday night will still go ahead.
“Lee and the team have made the decision that they will proceed with the contest on Saturday night,” said his manager Jamie Sanigar.
“Lee is a brave young man and he’s here to do a job on Saturday.”
Barry fighters Lee and Andrew (below) are both trained by Tony Borg at St Joseph’s in Newport.
