THE ladies of Brynhill Golf Club celebrated St David's Day with a 10 hole morning competition.
Several members braved the cold before the rain and sleet started. The winner was Julie Harkin who scored 19 points.
An evening celebration then followed featuring everything Welsh including a performance by 15-year-old Caitlin Taylor.
Caitlin, who attends Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg sung for members and was accompanied by her father Brian on guitar..
The in-house caterer provided a traditional cawl, followed by cheese and biscuits. A special thanks was given to Sue Holland, Robbie Lee and Audrey Phillips for providing home made Welsh cakes.
A Welsh faces quiz was particularly hard for some but not the winning team.
