A NEW eight ball pool league is about to be launched in the Vale of Glamorgan this Thursday (September 15) with teams encouraged to get involved.
Teams from St Athan, Rhoose, Barry, Sully and Penarth are all welcome to sign up.
All games will be played on a Thursday night, starting at 8.15pm. The league is open to both men and women.
It is hoped to establish a league in the Vale of Glamorgan that plays by 8 ball rules - otherwise known as county rules. Following the start up of the league is will be the next step to create a Vale of Glamorgan County team to compete against the other 47 county teams.
The new league is also looking for a sponsor or sponsors for the league and county team.
