SULLY Cricket Club entertained Whitchurch in a game which was played in the best of spirits.
Whitchurch won the toss and put the Spartans in to bat a decision they would later regret.
From the start Ram (36) and Morgan steadily pushed the score along to 106 before Ram was well caught.
Syed S then joined Morgan and between them put on 115 pushing the score to 221 before Syed was caught on the last bowl of the innings for a superb 75 leaving Morgan 70 not out and the Spartans well in control.
In response the Spartans were able to subdue the away sides push from the start and Saed A two for nine and Ash two for 22 was enough to make the Spartans victors by 60 runs.
