SULLY Bowling Club's rollercoaster season continued with an away win and a home defeat.
On Wednesday, June 1, in the Munro Cup the side travelled to Cowbridge on their synthetic green. On a beautiful evening an evenly fought game saw Sully with two rinks up and winning 77-54.
Special mention must be made of the D Edwards rink who at one stage were 10 down but won the last seven ends to close the gap to three.

D Curtain, T Murphy, A Thomas, D Curtis 28-13

On Saturday, June 4, the only good thing was the weather, on a very tricky green, Sully entertained Ystrad Mynach who are a very strong club and are still in the Carruthers. At 15 ends they were only eight down but it was the last six ends, again, which were their undoing. Sully lost 60-79.
