THIS week in the Vale of Glamorgan Football League, Dinas Powys Athletic won the historic ASRS Cup with three late goals as they defeated Penarth Town 4-1 at Jenner Park in a competitive match.

Athletic can mark their first season in the premier division as a success with this league cup win following up on a fifth place finish.

Docker Reunited clinched the second division title to compete a league and cup double after a 3-0 win over fourth place Knap. Their challengers Barry Athletic B completed their fixtures with a 4-2 victory over bottom side Barry Albion while Cadoxton Imps ensured a third place finish defeating St Athan B 2-1.

Elsewhere on the final weekend of the league season, Division One Champions Cogan Coronation signed off with a 4-0 win over FC Pumas. Sully Sports chased a runners-up spot but despite winning 7-3 against Cadoxton Barry couldn't topple Tynewydd who's 3-0 win in midweek against the same opposition ensure them second and surely promotion.

Second from bottom AFC Rhoose B finished their season on a positive winning 5-4 against Glenbrook to make it only one defeat in their final five games. Cadoxton Athletic finished seventh with a very good 3-2 win over Vale United while Barry Belgrade wrapped up with a 7-0 victory over BVFC.

Only two games in the Premier Division, fourth place Barry Athletic dispatched Masons Moving Group 4-2 while bottom side Island Marine finished on a high with a 5-3 win over second from bottom SP Construction.

Champions Cardiff Airport have a very important date this week as they face Carnetown in the play off to be promoted to the SWFA Alliance League today (Tuesday) at Treforest FC 6.30pm kick-off.

Three final league games are to be played on Tuesday also to wrap up a very good season in the Vale.
