VALE United won the Supporters Cup with an emphatic 4-0 win over Barry Belgrade at Jenner Park.

The Division One league cup victory made all the sweeter for the Ewenny based club, after being on the wrong end of two cup finals last season.

Skipper Richard Evans bagged a double while Thomas Hopkins and Mike Rowsel also notched as United claimed redemption. Is promotion next?

Meanwhile in the Premier Division all three title chasing sides were victorious, leaders St Athan won 3-1 against SP Construction, Wenvoe Arms defeated bottom side Island Marine 3-0 and Cardiff Airport routed Penarth Town 9-1.

Elsewhere in the division Dinas Powys Athletic put seven past AFC Rhoose in an impressive 7-1 away win and Cowbridge Town go fifth with a 5-2 victory over Masons Moving Group.

Division One and Two had a few of games called off after a downpour of rain left alot of the Barry Sports Centre pitches unplayable. Cogan Coronation went top of Division One with a 4-1 win over Cardiff Airport B and must be seen as firm favourites for the title now with five games left to play. Elsewhere, Glenbrook played out a 2-2 draw with Cadoxton Athletic.

Only one game in Division Two this week with Knap FC drawing 1-1 with FC Pumas B.
