EIGHT students from the Cadoxton School of Tae Kwon Do joined up with the WOMAA Welsh squad which travelled to Elgin Moray Scotland to take on a Scottish WOMAA squad.

This international was hosted by Master Steven Weir president of WOMAA Scotland.

The Welsh squad came away with an incredible haul of 40 medals 17 of which where won by the Cadoxton club, eight Gold, five Silver and four Bronze.

The tournament started with the pattern section where Charlie Rogers, Matthew Bennett, Cameron Evans, Lucy Newman and Peter O'Callaghan took Gold, with Jake Quigley taking Silver, Daniel Quigley and Martin James taking the Bronze.

Next was the weapon category with Lucy Newman and Jake Quigley taking Gold, Matthew Bennett and Cameron Evans Silver and Charlie Rogers the Bronze.

In the continuous sparring Matthew Bennett took Gold, Lucy Newman took Silver and Charlie Rogers took Bronze. Matthew Bennett went on to take the Silver in the point sparring category.
