BARRY Town United goalkeeper Dan Bradley will look to keep a remarkable 100th clean sheet for the club on Saturday, as Barry travel to former Welsh League champions Monmouth Town.

Bradley recorded his 99th competitive clean sheet in Friday night's 0-0 stalemate at Taffs Well; the opponents on his Town debut some nine years ago in the 2006-07 season.

Friday's clean sheet was Bradley's fifth against the Wellmen since arriving at Jenner Park; and a repeat performance in Monmouth will see the shot stopper complete his milestone century.

Barry defenders Ryan Evans, Lee Baldock, Paul Morgan and Bobby Briers will be among the Town teammates providing assistance, as Gavin Chesterfield's side aim to continue their strong start on the road at the Monmouth Sports Ground (2.30pm kick-off).

Having claimed three wins and two draws from their opening six outings, Chesterfield will be hoping his charges can increase their tally of eight points as the club continues to re-establish itself in the Welsh League Division One.

In Monday's Welsh Cup First Round draw, Barry Town United were paired with fellow Welsh League Division One outfit Briton Ferry Llansawel, in a tie to be played on Saturday, October 3, at Old Road, Briton Ferry (2pm kick-off).

Meanwhile, the Welsh League Cup Second Round draw handed Barry a home draw against Welsh League Division Two side Cwmbran Celtic. This tie is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 7 and, pending the completion of the ground's new 3G playing surface, could well be the Town's first match back at Jenner Park this season after three months spent on the road.

Last weekend saw the new Barry Town United ladies' football teams begin their league campaigns, on what was another landmark day for the resurgent Jenner Park club.

With both squads entered into Division Two of the South Wales Women's and Girls' League, the Barry first XI recorded an emphatic 9-0 win at Rhiwbina, with Millie Jones grabbing the first goal of the new era for the club.

The Barry ladies' first team squad for 2015-16 is comprised of Chloe Jones, Danielle Kerslake, Emily Hill, Emily Mortimore, Jess Thompson, Lucia Attanasio, Millie Jones, Robyn Hall, Shanaz Masani, Shanice Donovan, Shelley Bunn and Shelley McQuiston.

Meanwhile, a youthful Town development side was beaten 5-1 at Pontypridd in their own first outing under the Barry Town banner.

Representing the development squad during 2015-16 will be Annie John, Charlene Hewings, Chloe Bradfield, Chloe Saliba, Danielle Dakin-Weston, Francesca Howarth, Gabbi Cates, Katy Johnston, Kayleigh Parker, Lucy Horrigan, Nadia Odare, Rebecca Johnson and Shakira Britton.
