THE golf course at Cradock was played by the Brynhill Golf Club ladies for their 'away day' this year.
They were fortunate with the weather, a sunny day with little wind and panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons over the 18 holes. Dinner was followed by presentation to the winners.
First team: Linda Gershensen, Sue Bounds and Liz Fine.
Second team: Miggs Codd, Andrea Page and Carol Bumford.
Nearest the pin - Jane Phillips.
Longest Drive - Linda Hewlett.
The journey home was accompanied by the usual singing and laughter.

July 14 - John Lowden Cup, Foundation Brooch and GUW.
Winner - Glynis Gould nett 73, runner-up - Liz Taylor nett 75.
July 21 Vice Captain's Day.
Silver winner - Sam Pascoe 38 points. Bronze winner - Miggs Codd 40 points.
After presentation vice captain Liz Fine arranged a game of bingo, another first for the lady golfers.
July 28 - Bob Hope Cup. Silver winner - Gemma Evans 35 points.
Holland and Tattersall cup winner - Gemma Evans 35 points, runner-up - Linda Hewlett 32 points.
