ON April 7 Brynhill Golf Club Ladies welcomed the artistic talents of Vaughan Cummins with a fantastic lesson in how to turn a blank canvas into a work of art.
In only two hours, using acrylic paint and various sizes of palette knives he produced an amazing landscape of Snowdonia. It was a remarkable evening watching his masterpiece take shape, and all in absolute silence
Competition Results:
March 31 the Easter Egg Competition winner was Rose Pitman with 18 points, runner up was Jan Tattersell with 16 points.
April 7, the Rabbits and Tigers competition with winners Glynis Gould and Helena Combes on 79.5nett and runners up on Di Tapscott and Linda Hewlett on 81 nett.
April 14 was the Jo Whitehouse Cup with Gemma Evans the winner with 37 points and runner up being Jo Kirkpatrick with 35 points.
The winner of the Gran’s Trophy was Jo Kirkpatrick, 35 points over the back nine from Linda Hewlett.
