BARRIVALE Bridge Club held their recent meeting on April 14 which also coincided with their AGM and a celebration of the clubs 28th birthday.
The Birthday Team results were:
1st Team 2 – Peter Millar, Mick Green, Helen Jordan, Judith Owen and Noelle Bond with 49 IMPS
2nd Team 6 – Mike Close, Tim Barsby, Ann Macdougall and Sean Macdougall with 43IMPS
3rd Team 3 – Huw Thomas, Celia Thomas, Tom Kendrick and Dave Thomas with 2IMPS
As from Friday, May 1, it is Barrivale Bridge Clubs intention to hold regular morning sessions, commencing at 9.45am and finishing at 12.30pm.
These will be assisted Bridge sessions primarily for beginners, people wishing to return to the game and those who would like to improve their game. It should be an excellent way to master some of the intricacies of this wonderful game.
New members are always welcome at Barrivale. A partner may be arranged if required. If you would like to join them ring 01446 418380 or 01446 733425 or call at the Pioneer Hall, Beryl Road, Barry on Tuesdays at 7pm or Friday, May 1, at 9.45am.
