THE new outdoor bowls season is just weeks away and Barry Romilly Bowling Club are looking forward to playing in the newly formed league format, whereby all division numbers have been reduced from 12 teams to eight.

This will allow Cardiff Municipal league matches to be played on a home and away basis for the first time. Clubs will now play 14 games which will give the league’s winners’ greater satisfaction as this format will show a true reflection on a season’s performance.
