WITH tries from Dai Harris and Alex Szuchnik and three from Harry Moyle, along with conversions from Jake Williams, Sully Sports got back to winning ways.

After slugging it out with CIACS, who manage to field a very strong team, this was a frustrating game, but thanks go to all the supporters who braved the day.

Sully started well and pressured the visitors straight away, showing the power up front with Jody, Sam and Jamie having their opposition in their pockets all game.

However, little mistakes ensured the opposition stayed in touch with the score line. Sully player Harry showed many skills from barn storming runs into the opposition half, to stealing the ball at ease.

On the front foot Sully showed why they are so feared in this league and other sides throw everything at them. However, with the referee ensuring a fast game, interlinking phases between all players kept Sully ahead on the scoreboard.

John Thomas, captain, showed his years of experience and kept the side calm for most of the game with a few players shuffling position.

It was easy to see how far the team has come this year, and soon Sully had more points on the board and moving towards the bonus points.

The visitors certainly tried everything they could to upset the day, but Sully regrouped and controlled the final score of the day running out winners 29-22.

Jody will be giving kicking tips on Tuesday at the club after his second half banana kick. Another hard fought game by all players, and they will travel to Tongwynlais on Saturday, all support welcome.

Due to points being deducted due to teams leaving the division, Sully holds a strong third place in the division.
