TO THE huge disappointment of all club officials, players and especially supporters, Saturday morning's rain brought yet another postponement for Barry Town United.

Yet again, the promotion seeking team (and the under 19s who were due to play the next day) were left kicking their heels rather than footballs on the soggy Jenner Park surface.

As the photo shows, the pitch is clearly unplayable with pools of water lying on its surface, unable to drain away.

The fixtures will be rescheduled and as soon as the wet weather calms down a bit and the club will try and make sure that everyone knows when the games will be replayed. One thing is certain, it will be a busy end to the season for Barry.

Barry, weather permitting, are due for a tough game on Saturday at Risca, kick off 2pm, and the club can announce that the draw was finally made Saturday last and the full results can be found on the website at http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/barrytownunited/.

The main prize, a 50" TV, was won by Rhydian Hopkins.

The next scheduled visitors to Jenner Park are Caerleon on January 31, kick off 2pm, if the rain and expected ice relent.
