DURING the Barry Darts League open week, on November 21, the Dockers lost their unbeaten record in a rearranged away match against the Poachers. The Poachers came out comfortable winners with a result of 15-6.

With a full set of fixtures last week, the only remaining unbeaten side, the BFC Allsorts, were playing away to the Mariners. The home side pushed the Allsorts all the way, finally going down to a narrow 10-11 defeat.

During the match, John Morgan (BFC Allsorts) hit a 180 while Colin Berryman (Mariners) hit a 180 and a 120 out shot.

The Poachers go to the top of the league after a 15-6 win, away to the Plastics with Terry Overton (Poachers) hitting a 102 out shot.

The Billy Ghosts drop down to second place after losing 7-14 in an away game to the Cwm Talwg. The Dockers climb into third spot after beating the Hell Raisers 20-1.

In the remaining matches, The Park Weasels won 16-5 away to the Caddy Cons Loungers, while the Tynewydd won 13-8 at home to the Raiders.

The Runways travelled away to the Wanderers where the Wanderers pulled off a 13-8 win.

On a sad note, the thoughts of everyone within the league are with the family of Gareth Davies who sadly passed away last week. Gareth was a long standing member of the Mariners 66 team where he played alongside his father and brother. Their condolences go out to his family and team mates at this sad time.
