Barry based sea anglers are invited to attend next month’s Pembrokeshire Charity Sea Angler Match.

This year the organisation is raising funds for the Cleft Lip and Palate Association. CLAPA is a UK based voluntary organisation helping those with, and affected by, cleft lip and palate.

The event takes place on Saturday, December 6 at Amroth Beach, Pembrokeshire.

There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs and entertainment for the family with Santa Claus and Sam the close quarters magician appearing.

Top prize for the longest fish in the senior’s section is £150 and an eight hour bass trip, whilst the junior’s winner will get £25 and a four hour bass trip.

Fishing takes place between 10am and 3pm with the weigh in at 3.15pm. One rod and three hooks permitted per angler and all entrants need to book in from 8.30am on the day at the New Inn car park, Amroth.

Entry is £10 for seniors and £5 for juniors (under 16’s). Booking is available on the day at the venue or via their website at www.fishingthroughoutpembrokeshire.co.uk.

The organisers would like to thank all the sponsors, raffle contributors and volunteers for this year’s match, including: Awesome Fishing, St Catherine's Island & Fort, Woodenbale 2000 Ltd, Jackie's Craft Supplies and Raven Trading.
