THE P1AquaX Jetski racing events saw two Barry boys compete in Cardiff and Torquay.

Alex Lemon (#86) raced his Yamaha FX160 in the 200hp class at Cardiff and scored 39 points overall, while Lewis Royle (#67) raced his Seadoo GTR 215 in the 250HP class at Torquay and scored 40 points.

Both competitors are aiming to race in this season's final in Gosport in September where there is a strong contingent from Wales competing in the P1 AquaX events, not only on the jetskis, but also the Panther class powerboats, with two Welsh boats racing.

This is both boys first venture into racing, and Alex and Lewis will be looking to next season's race calendar where they hope to participate in the full season.

P1 AquaX came to Cardiff bay for the first time this year. It was a great success with the weather being very kind to Alex and the other racers

The conditions for Lewis in Torquay were more challenging as the sea conditions were not as calm as the sheltered water in the bay.
