BARRY Town have lined up five friendlies as they look to improve on last season’s 3rd position in Division One of the Welsh Football League.

The first three friendlies will be played at the University Playing Fields at Treforest.

First up are Welsh Premier League Club Haverfordwest County on Monday, July 13 (ko tbc) followed by Bridgend Street on Saturday, July 18 (ko 2pm).

A Cardiff City XI will be the opponents on Tuesday, July 28 (ko tbc).

The Dragons travel to Devon on Saturday, August 1 to play Willand Rovers, who are in the Premier Division of The Western League. Kick off is at 3pm and the Barry Town Supporters Club will be running a coach to the game.

The final warm up game will be at AFC Llwydcoed - newly promoted to Welsh League Division Two - on Saturday, August 8 (ko 2.30pm).

The Dragons start their League campaign away at local rivals Dinas Powys on Saturday, August 15, quickly followed by a trip to Cambrian & Clydach on Wednesday, July 19 with the first home game being against last season’s runners-up Goytre United.

During August, September and October all Saturday games kick off at 2.30pm.
