YEAR 6 pupils from Holton Primary School took part in the Cardiff Blues Tag Rugby Tournament on Friday, June 12.
The team put their months of practice to good use to produce some lovely rugby on the pitch, playing teams from all over Cardiff and the Vale.
Once again the youngsters were supported by ‘Time Credits’ pupils from Barry Comprehensive, Michael Hamonda and Jake Williams, who give up their own time to help train the team – and were superb in coaching them during the tournament.
Roger Hardy, Deputy Headteacher of Holton Primary School, said: "It was a great experience for the children to play in the Cardiff Arms Park stadium.
"We would like to take the opportunity to thank the Cardiff Blues Team and Barry Comprehensive School for their support."
