Stags of Barry Athletic CC lose out to the weather

ALL THREE Stags matches last weekend, between Barry 1st XI and Machen CC, Barry 2nd XI and Miskin Manor CC and Barry 3rd XI and Panteg A CC, were sadly cancelled due to the annual monsoon.

A grand total of 8,500 fans were turned away from the Barry Oval and had to be refunded for their tickets.

This weekend sees the Barry 1st XI visit promotion contenders Ebbw Vale CC, while Barry 2nd XI host high-flyers, Croesyceiliog CC, and Barry 3rd XI host Brecon CC.

Another sell out crowd is expected for the home game between Barry 2nd XI and Croesyceiliog CC.

Will all Stags please let their respective captains know about their availability for this weekend’s matches.
