BARRY RFC opened up their pre-season schedule with a friendly against promoted Maesteg Quins last Saturday and gave a good account of themselves against stronger opposition and without many regular first team players due to holiday and work commitments.
Unfortunately the planned visit by Rhyl RFC next weekend has been cancelled due to travel problems which means that the game away at Caldicot on the 25th August will be their last chance before the season proper opens with a home fixture against Taffs Well on the 1st September kick off 2.30pm.
A coach will leave the club at 12.30pm for the Caldicot visit.
The Lottery rolls over again this week to £2350 as this weeks numbers 02 - 06 - 07 and 17 failed to find a winner, two tickets matched 3 numbers to win £10
