Brynhill Golf Club Ladies have celebrated one of their members' 90th birthday.
Val Weir, a retired Barry primary school teacher, has been playing golf at Brynhill since the 1960s and she is still a much respected club member.
The Thursday golf league, organised by Nicci Case and Diane Tapscott, decided to celebrate Val’s special day at the club with the ladies.
Julie Harkin baked and iced a delicious cake, which everyone enjoyed.
Glynis Gould, did a pencil with watercolour wash picture of Barry Castle for Val, which she loved.
Val thanked everyone for her flowers and presents and for helping her celebrate her 90th at the golf club.
