ON 16th of June, the Barry Beavers Disabled Swimming Club's swimming gala team travelled to Pontypool for the Gwent Dolphin's Swimming Clubs Gala.
The 29 strong team competed against other clubs such as Gwent Dolphins, Blaenau Gwent Otters, Towy Salmon and Rhondda Polar Bears and won overall with 7 Golds, 2 Silvers and 5 Bronzes.
The whole team swam well and a lot got through finals from there heats and others got through straight finals. The swimming club's coach Pat Finch was very proud of the whole team for doing so well on the day and for everyone's efforts resulting to the club winning again the third time so far this year.

Also we had an new member to the team Tom Burley who swam as well on the day.
