A FOOTBALLER from Barry has been called up to represent Wales in the upcoming Learning Disability Home Nations Championships, set to take place this April.
Eighteen-year-old Joe Hewings, who represents BRT Dynamos in the Vale of Glamorgan Football League and the Barry Town United pan-disability side, has been selected for the annual tournament which is being held in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The competition will see Wales take on Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in a round-robin format, with Wales hoping to go one better than last year's second place finish.
