IN A weather decimated weekend only a handful of games were played in the Vale of Glamorgan.

In the Supporters Cup, the game of the day saw Barry Belgrade host league leaders Barry Athletic B.

The match lived up to the hype in an enthralling contest that could have gone either way and 90 minutes couldn't separate the teams but Athletic B found a winner in extra time to progress. Linford Harris notching both of Athletic B's goals.

Cadoxton Athletic also advanced over Cardiff Airport to make the quarter-final.

In the Dockers Cup Barry Saints edged out St Athan B in an 11 goal thriller 6 - 5. Joe Matthews, Arturs Zomerovskis, Chris Hegarty, Rhys Hocking plus two own goals finding the net for Barry Saints with Josh Howells (2), Craig Howells, Alex Harry and Colin George responding for St Athan B.

In the ASRS Cup holders Dinas Powys Athletic crashed out at the first hurdle with high-flying Cowbridge Town going through at their expense.

The draws were made for the three divisional cups on Saturday evening, ties to be played on February 11. In the ASRS Cup, Cowbridge host Masons Moving Group, Rhoose take on Tynewydd, Barry Athletic play the winners of the rearranged Penarth versus Vale United game and St Athan will welcome Island Marine.

In the Supporters Cup, Dockers host Barry Athletic B, Cadoxton Athletic await the winners of the postponed Pumas versus Cogan, Glenbrook play SP Billy and Sully welcome Cadoxton Barry.

The Dockers Cup quarter-finals line-up will see Island Marine B hosting Penarth B, FC Pumas B play Rhoose B, league leaders Cadoxton Imps take on BVFC and finally Barry Saints will face Barry Albion.

Only one league game was played, Rhoose extended their excellent winning streak with an exciting 5 - 4 victory over Barry Athletic. Six wins on the bounce for Rhoose as they move to fourth. Notably for Athletic Nathan Williams bagged himself a hat-trick.

Next week sees a full round of league fixtures - weather permitting. With the games of the day in each division looking like being Cowbridge versus Rhoose in the premier division, Barry Athletic B hosting Cogan in the first and Barry Saints playing Island Marine B in the second.
