ROMILLY Bowls Club is enjoying another successful season with both men’s club and A sides among the front runners in both their leagues.
The club side are currently in second place in the first division with one game left to play whilst the A side who are also in a similar position in the fourth division and have a chance of promotion for the second season running if they beat Blaenrhondda away on Monday.
Romilly Ladies have also joined the men’s section by having a good season winning the LDR league.
Although the bowls season is coming to a close there is still a lot of bowling to be done especially on Saturday, December 10, when the finals of club competitions take place.

Men’s 4 Wood Pairs - A Bannister and D Bannister v K Mills and G Cogbill
At 12.30pm:

Men’s 4 Wood Mottram (Novice) - D Mottram v A Bannister
Ladies 4 Wood H/C Singles - J Nobles v J McPherson
At 3pm
Men’s 4 Wood H/C Singles - J Coles v A Bannister
Men’s 4 Wood Tim Evans Singles - M Doyle v D Bannister
Ladies Champion Singles - B Holmes v N Goodrich
Men’s Championship Singles - P Gershenson v G Cogbill
Food will be available from 9.30am.
Ladies Pairs will be played on Thursday, December 8 between M Lalande and J Davies versus J Noble and N Goodrich.
All presentations will take place at around 5.30pm at the clubhouse.
