ON FRIDAY, November 18, the Brynhill Golf Club ladies' section attended their last dinner of the year under the captaincy of Liz Fine.
The ladies' captain thanked all the players for their support during her term of office. Liz hands over the reins of running the ladies' section to Olwen Thomas at the Ladies' AGM on Tuesday, November 22.
Liz and Olwen presented prizes to some of the ladies who had won competitions over the last few months.
The captain and vice captain entered into the spirit of Children in Need and dressed up in their pyjamas for the occasion. A delicious fruit cake was donated by Ann Phillips and this was expertly decorated with a Pudsey Bear by Julie Harkin. The cake was raffled and £105 was raised for Children in Need.
An enjoyable evening was had by all.
