Barry Athletic B 3 - SP Billy 1
ON A cold day over the Island two good sides met for the first time with SP Billy making a few changes.
It was Barry Athletic who were the more productive in the first 20 minutes going two up early with John Knight in goals making some great saves. With 10 minutes to go SP Billy's Richard Drew popped up at the back post to give them a lifeline.
With plenty of missed chances upfront SP Billy went in 2 - 1 down at half-time.
In the second half SP Billy started much brighter and seemed to be pushing for the equaliser but Athletic had a moment of madness and had a player sent off.
SP Billy seemed to take advantage but to no avail and with five minutes to go Athletic scored to take all three points in an entertaining game with Richard Drew and Paul Palmer standing out for SP Billy.
