SP Billy 5 - Masons Moving Group 2
WITH SP Billy having a break from league action they were playing a premier league side in Masons Moving Group in the Barry Cup.
SP Billy had one or two missing players which gave the whole squad a good run out.
Rhydian Jacka nearly gave SP Billy a goal after 10 seconds and was working hard up front next to Franky. But it was Lloyd Carter who opened up the scoring. Ethan Shaw continued his good form and SP Billy were playing some great football.
Masons were sporadically coming into the game but SP Billy deserved the lead at half-time.
Ben Davies and Lee Connell were controlling the middle and the experienced back four of Paul Palmer, Rich Drew, Christos Pateros and Lloyd were keeping things calm.
SP Billy scored another goal but then Masons came back with two quick goals around the 60 minute mark.
In the end Franky scored and an own goal from Masons, meant SP Billy won and are now progressing to the next round.
Man-of-the-match was Ethan Shaw.
