A NEW series of junior tennis coaching is being offered at Barry Athletic Tennis Club from Sunday, July 10, for all young age groups.

Hour-long coaching sessions with professional coaches for different age groups are offered for five to eight years from 10am to 11am, eight to 12 years from 11am to noon and over 12 years from noon to 1pm.

A six week programme costs £30.

Barry Athletic Tennis Club has a partnership with Tennis Squad Coaching Academy whose team of tennis coaches deliver award-winning services across South Wales, working with anyone with an interest or passion in tennis offering a fun, safe and educational tennis experience

Members enjoy year-round tennis with four high quality all weather courts, including one floodlit court.

Barry Athletic Tennis Club is run by volunteers with any profits re-invested back into the club’s activities and facilities

Members also have free use of tennis balls. There is ample free car parking at all times and members can use the facilities of the bar in the nearby Bowls Pavilion.

Barry Tennis Club is affiliated to Tennis Wales, the National Governing Body for tennis in Wales, which is part of The Lawn Tennis Association.
