SOUTH Wales Warriors American Football team will be holding a try out in Cardiff on Sunday, November 8.

They are looking for adults over 18 to try out in preparation for the 2016 season.

The Warriors, who currently play in the Premier Division on the British American Football Leagues, are looking to recruit new players, coaches and support staff to compliment the current team and to push the team onto further success.

The two hour session, will give participants the chance to participate in a variety of activities designed to give new players the opportunity to see what it’s like to play American Football. The try out will be held at Talybont Sports Village, Cardiff from noon until 2pm.

Head coach Geraint Roberts said “We get players of all shapes and sizes from all over South Wales – some with lots of experience in contact sports, others with none at all. The two most important things a new player can bring is a desire to hit and a willingness to learn. We can coach the rest”.
