SULLY Primary School is really proud of the recent sporting achievements of a number of its pupils.
A short time ago, four Sully pupils attended trials with the South Wales Women’s and Girls’ Football League. Molly Barlow (aged 10), Grace Brown (9), Macy Brown (11) and Nicole Horrobin (9) were all successful, securing places in the 20-girl Cardiff and Vale U11 representative squad.
There were 70 girls who underwent the rigorous trials.
Macy Brown has also recently undertaken trials at county level with another favourable outcome.
Over the last four years, Sully Primary has encouraged girls to participate in football both at school and outside and throughout this period the school has had many successes, both locally and further afield.
The school wishes the girls good luck in their future footballing careers.
