AFTER many months of knockout rounds, the final pairings of the Sir Robert Webber were announced at Brynhill Golf Club.
Gemma Evans (this year's Ladies Golf Champion) and her playing partner Andy Chick, against Liz Taylor and her husband Glenn.
They faced each other to win the coveted mixed pairs trophy. It was a closely fought match between them, which showed, as after 18 holes the match was all square.
The match continued back down the first, as a conclusion had to be reached. The game was nip and tuck, until eventually with daylight fading, Gemma and Andy won the match on the 24th hole.

Congratulations to Christian Shepherd and Matt Lundrigan for not losing a game all season. Tom Wilcox was brought out of moth balls and obviously made the winning combination.
