Barry Kickboxing Club recently took six of its fighters to fight on Kickboxing Fight Night at the Sports and Social Club in Pontypool.
First up was novice fighter Riley Harcourt. Riley had a brilliant fight and won his first fight having only been training for three months.
Next up was his cousin CJ Harcourt. CJ did really well and also won his fight he is also a novice fighter.
Next fight of the night was Jackson Griffiths. Jackson fought really well but lost on points.
Next on the mat was Dylan Evans. The intermediate section was dominated by Dylan as he took first place. Next up was Marcus Evans in the Boys Under-13s category. Unfortunately Marcus lost his fight on points.
Last to fight was Cali O Keefe fought well in the Black Belt section losing to a more advanced fighter.
Jason Griffiths, four degree Black Belt instructor of Barry Kickboxing Club was very pleased with his fighters and is looking forward to their next competition.
Anyone wanting to come train with BKC Kickboxing are invited to come along to the YMCA Hub, Gladstone Road, Barry on Tuesdays at 6pm.
