JAMES Savory, from Barry, has won Gold at the Four Nations Para Badminton Competition.
James has only just returned from winning Silver in Sprint Kayaking at the World Games in Los Angeles and has now won Gold in the first competition of the badminton season at the competition which took place in the National Sport Wales Centre, Cardiff.
More than 50 players took part from all the four home nations.
James competed with his partner Stephen Davies from Wrexham in the Men's Double winning the final and receiving a Gold medal.
