IN THE Barry Darts League fixtures on March 20, the Cwm Talwg strengthened their grip on the top of the league with a 19-2 win over the Tynewydd.

Richie Boucher and Steve Moggeridge both hit 180s in the match, and Gareth Owens hit a 118 out shot.

With the Poachers not playing, the Billy Ghosts remained in second despite a 7-14 defeat to the Dockers.

The Plastics won 13-8 away to the Raiders, with Mathew Bills hitting a 180 on the night. The Mariners had a convincing 19-2 away win over the Hell Raisers to take them into fourth place.

The Park Weasels overcame the Runways by 12-9 and the BFC Allsorts won 13-8 at home to the Wanderers.

This week saw the Poachers move into joint second place with a comprehensive 16-5 win away to the Mariners. The Billy Ghosts are level on points in second, after beating the Tynewydd 12-9.

The BFC Allsorts had a comfortable 14-7 away win over the Loungers, while the Park Weasels also obtained a 14-7 away win over the Wanderers.

The Dockers were home to the Raiders in the closest match of the week. The Dockers just came out on top with an 11-10 victory, Mathew Jackson hitting a 180 in the process.

The Plastics completed the weeks fixtures with a 19-2 home win over the Hell Raisers.

With league cup ties taking place this week, teams not involved in the cup are encouraged to play any rearranged games as soon as possible.
