RECENTLY the Cadoxton and West End Schools of Tae Kwon-Do held their third colour belt grading of the year.

The grading took place at the Victoria Park Community Centre, where 20 students from both clubs were put through their paces by Master Ron Thomas 8th Dan. The exam consisted of all aspects of this Korean Martial art, patterns, set sparring, floor work, focus and power, finishing with a theory test. The grading was a success with all 20 students passing their grading, four of which achieved top grade “A” passes. They were, Lucia Cunningham, Charlie Rogers, with Cameron Evans and Rhys Perrett the deserved winners of the clubs grading shields.

Successful candidates were:-

Promoted to 9th kup Orange belt: - Deagan Stockford, Ella Bedford, Maci Connell, Riley Rees, Bailey Rees, Danielle Perrett, John Campbell, Tristan Smith.

Promoted to 8th Kup Yellow belt: - Charlie-Jade Rogers, Emily Miles, Kiera Watson-Wood.

Promoted to 6th Kup Green belt: - Courtney James, Leo Cummins.

Promoted to 5th Kup Blue stripe: - Ethan Andrus, Cameron Evans.

Promoted to 4th Kup Blue belt: - Lucia Cunningham.

Promoted to 3rd Kup Red stripe: - Martin James, Jessica Blackley.

Promoted to 1st Kup: - Joel Wells.
