IN the matches taking place on October 24, The BIlly Ghosts kept up their fine start to the season by winning away to the Mariners 15-6. The BFC Allsorts also maintained their 100 per cent record by winning 13-8, at the Park Hotel against the Weasels.

The Plastics got their first win of the season with a 13-8 win over the Tynewydd and the Wanderers beat the Hell Raisers 18-3.

The Poachers faced a trip to Rhoose, to play the Runways, but came back with a comfortable 18-3 victory. In the last game of the week the Caddy Cons Raiders beat the Loungers 16-5. Billy Kilgour hit a 180 and J Walters hit a 108 out shot during the match.

In the matches on October 31, The Billy Ghosts unbeaten run came to an end. The Plastics hit the winning double in the final game to come away from the Billy with an 11-10 victory, but the Billy Ghosts remain top of the league.

The Mariners move into second place with a 15-6 away win against the Caddy Cons Raiders. The Cwm Talwg were away to the Park Weasels and had a comfortable 17-4 win.

The Poachers are third in the table after an entertaining victory over the Wanderers. During the match, Ray Way of the Poachers hit a 180. Ray Peterson and Lee Chatwell from the Wanderers also hit 180s on the night. The Loungers got their first win of the season with a 14-7 win against the Hell Raisers.

The only other two unbeaten sides in the league both maintained their winning records. The BFC Allsorts won 15-6 against the Runways and the Dockers won 12-9 away to the Tynewydd, despite Phil Browne of the Tynewydd hitting a 180.
