THIS Tuesday night (August 26) at Jenner Park, Barry Town United will celebrate goalkeeper Dan Bradley's 300th appearance, as Gavin Chesterfield's team entertain Caldicot Town in Welsh League Division Two (7.45pm kick-off).
Bradley will join a select band of less than 30 players to have played more than 300 competitive matches for Barry; among them, the likes of Bobby Smith, Mel Donovan, Ashley Griffiths, Derek Redwood, Paul Preece and fellow goalkeeper Trevor Nott.
Since making his Town début in August 2006, Bradley has kept some 86 clean sheets in league and cup action and will hope to build on that number against a Caldicot side who held Llanwern to a 1-1 draw on the opening day.
Team-mate Lee Baldock is meanwhile poised to make a milestone 100th appearance for Barry in the floodlit fixture at Jenner Park.
Both players were a key part of the Town side that reached the Welsh Cup semi-finals last year and won the Welsh League Third Division championship in May.
Admission at the turnstiles is £5 (adults), £4 (OAPs/students) and £3 (unaccompanied children), with accompanied children welcomed free of charge and discounts available for club members.
