AN outstanding young martial arts exponent has chalked up another great win.

Facing fighters from Wales, England and Jersey in the second stage of the WOMAA (World Organisation of Martial Arts Athletes) British Series at Cardiff's Western Leisure Centre, Barry teenager Liam Rees, who recently turned 17, entered the men's 60kg and under category.

Displaying outstanding talent and kickboxing skills, Liam, despite the intense heat, moved comfortably through the rounds before beating a top-class fighter in the final.
