BARRY teenager Liam Rees continues to make his mark on the martial arts scene.
At the WAKO Welsh championships at Penarth Leisure Centre, 16-year-old Liam fought through a number of rounds to win a very respectable silver medal - missing out on gold, in a category with the most competitors, by just one point.
Next up was the second Welsh Rumble in The Warriors Gym, Bridgend, hosted by Master Jeff Copp. Dominating the two-round fight with a full range of kickboxing moves, the talented young fighter, coached by Leanne Emmerson and Mal Johns, produced another outstanding display.
Liam is now in training for the German Open in Munich in October.
